The Cohort.
Eight weeks that end with your kid on a stage.
Performance coaching, one-on-one voice lessons, songwriting workshops, studio skills, and real time at the microphone, for a group of six to eight singers ages 13-17. Two sessions a week for eight weeks. Applications for Cohort I are open.
8 weeks.
Small by design.
Two sessions a week, eight weeks, and they walk out with a song of their own, a recording of it, and a night in front of a real audience.
We cap the group at six to eight. That’s small enough for Joy and Cee to know every singer in the room by the end of the first week, and small enough that nobody drifts through it. Two sessions a week, for eight weeks.

What the eight weeks contain.
Performance Coaching (Group Class)
Building stage presence, physicality, storytelling, and character. Students begin identifying what they want to create and perform for the showcase.
Songwriting Workshop (Group)
Students develop original material with guidance on structure, lyrics, melody, and finding their voice as a writer.
Studio / Software 101
Hands-on GarageBand instruction for practical recording skills, paired with an overview of the DAWs they’ll meet later: Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools.
One-on-One Voice Lessons
Individual sessions (2-3 per student over the program), focused specifically on developing and polishing their showcase number. Integrated into the program arc.
Studio Recording
Each student tracks their own piece in a working studio, run the way a professional session runs: headphones on, mic up, take after take. They leave with a real recording of their song, not a phone video of the showcase.
Showcase Performance
The last night, and the one everything else has been building toward. Each student performs the piece they developed, for a live audience.
How the 8 weeks unfold.
Eight weeks later, you’re on stage.
You perform the piece you spent the whole program building, in front of a real audience in a real room. Whatever you do after this, you’ll have done it once.

You’ve been practising for this in your bedroom.
